Watford manager sacked
Watford manager Javi Gracia has left his post, the Premier League club have announced.

The Spaniard, whose coaching team have also left Vicarage Road, had been in charge since January 2018 - making him the first Hornets boss to last more than one full season since 2013.

A club statement said there would be an "imminent appointment of a new coaching team".

Watford are bottom of the Premier League table with one point.

Was never quite sure why he left the first time having got them mid table and to a FA Cup semi final.
I suppose the Watford owner would say the regular manager changes haven’t hurt them and they have a structure that is unaffected by who comes in (and out).
Chelsea have had success with a similar model.

Interesting Watford has gone for QSF again. It would seem that having been through every manager in the world they are starting all over again.

Fact of the day: Kevin Keen's dad was manager of Watford

They did lose their last 3 league games & the FA Cup Final (0-6) last season so it’s 8 games without a win.
A massive shame as two of them were home defeats 1-4 & 1-3 by us.
Which makes him a great Watford manager in my eyes.

So 15th manager in the last 11 years? That takes some doing!

Re: Watford manager sacked
This is frankly a little ridiculous. We had a worse start last year and yet we didn’t panic. He got them to the cup final last season and they played some good football against us too IMO despite losing. They were unfortunate not to beat Newcastle too.

How many other teams would panic sack their manager what is just after a 4 game run of bad form? Madness!

They did get to a FA Cup Final.

Which is important for me and a lot of posters I think.

Duxbury made me laugh a couple of years ago. I remember it really well - nine games in and Watford were doing ok and he was lording it up as if they'd done a Leicester and upset the applecart. An "inconvenient truth", he called them.

NINE GAMES! Of course, they came 14th - behind us.

I didn't know that the megacunt Duxbury was robbing a living over at that poxy outfit. If ever a club deserved to follow in Boltons footsteps it's this lot.

The club's turnover of managers is astonishing.

Makes the Dildos look sane. Plenty of famous names in there, too. Nutjob of a club.
